Harper remained completely unfazed.

Meanwhile, Lana quietly observed everything. After a brief moment of thought, she turned toward Harper.
"Should I deal with this matter myself?"
Harper leaned closer and lowered her voice slightly.
"Even if you want to deal with it yourself, dear, it would be better if we teach her some manners before she’s released. Otherwise, you will suffer quite a lot at her hands in the future."
Lana considered those words carefully.
In the end, she felt that Harper’s suggestion made sense.
"All right."
She watched as Thessy was escorted away. Soon afterward, Lana left as well and returned to the mansion.
The moment she arrived, she noticed Axel pacing near the entrance. He looked restless, his brows furrowed with concern.
As soon as he spotted her, he hurried over. "How did the meeting go? Did Thessy agree? What conditions did she put forward?"
Lana chuckled softly. "Let’s go inside first and talk."
Before she could continue, however, a pair of strong arms suddenly scooped her up.
Startled, she looked up. It was Lucian. Without saying a word, he began carrying her toward the mansion.
It was as if he knew that she was scared by the encounter she had with Thessy.
Lana couldn’t help staring at him.
"If you weren’t there, God knows what I would have done."
The moment those words left her mouth, she froze.
Memories from her previous life surfaced within her mind.
Back then, Lucian had repeatedly come into contact with Thessy because of her.
Everything had started because of her.

Axel looked at her again.

Lana shook her head without hesitation. "Even though it’s a good association, it isn’t my destiny."
After speaking, she fell silent. Axel didn’t continue pressing the topic.
Instead, he changed the subject.
"All right. Since Thessy has been temporarily dealt with, how about this? I’ll start teaching you about herbs, poisons, antidotes, cures, and common diseases."
Lana blinked. A slight frown appeared on her face.
"Why do I need to learn medical knowledge?"
Axel chuckled.
"Because it will be useful. Trust me. Once you start participating in international Mystic Cultivator competitions, you’ll realize just how valuable this knowledge can be."
Hearing that explanation, Lana eventually nodded. "Fine."
And just like that, her training officially began. Axel started by teaching her about herbs.

Even Axel became speechless. He had never imagined that his own niece’s body would be so vulnerable to various toxins.
The situation became so ridiculous that even Lucian felt heartbroken whenever he saw her suffering.

At first, Axel assumed she had studied everything carelessly. To test her, he deliberately asked several difficult questions.

Eventually, Axel stared at her with a complicated expression. "Lana, you truly have an incredible memory."
Lana chuckled. "Well, that’s only natural."
Axel rolled his eyes before continuing. "Now that you’ve finished learning medicine, it’s time to focus on your Mystic Energy."
Lana tilted her head. "I have to do something with that too?"
Axel nodded.
"Of course. Most importantly, you need to change the color of your mystic energy. You can’t continue displaying that white shimmering light of yours."
As he spoke, his expression grew serious.
"Honestly, I’m still stunned by how quickly you’re advancing. Especially that white light. If I’m not mistaken, you can already fight cultivators at least one level above your current rank."
Lana grinned confidently. "I’ve been a genius since birth."
Axel immediately rolled his eyes again. "Enough boasting. Now let the lesson begin."
Lana laughed softly. Axel continued.

Following his instructions, Lana closed her eyes.
Axel patiently explained various theories and techniques, occasionally correcting her mistakes and sharing years of accumulated experience.
Time passed quickly.
After nearly two weeks of relentless effort, Lana finally succeeded in changing the color of her Mystic Light.
By the third week, she had already mastered knowledge regarding common diseases, antidotes, poisons, cures, medicinal ingredients, and even numerous wild herbs.
When everything was finally over, Lana couldn’t help feeling proud.
Because of Axel’s teachings, her confidence had increased tremendously.
