The black veins that covered their bodies didn’t look natural to Melina either, and as she kept inspecting their bodies, the male demon shot a shadow projectile at her.
However, before it could reach Melina, she used lightning magic to appear beside them, kicking them to the side in a similar manner that Ichiro had done just a few minutes before.
"Another strong one..." said the female demon as she got up from the ground.
The male demon opened his mouth and looked up, using his hand to reach down into his throat and pulling out a small sword from his insides, which made Melina gag a bit.
The female simply showcased her nails as they grew in size and girth, making them look like the claws of a monster.
Not wanting to fight without a weapon, Melina unsheathed her mithril estoc from her waist. Even though she knew that mithril had no effect on demonic energy, all she needed was a weapon to defend herself.
Melina shut her eyes for a moment, increasing the MP output of her body and making the ground around them shake for a brief second, shocking the two demons.
