Chapter 48: What’s up!
Chapter 48 - What's up!Anccelmo was tied down to the makeshift bed of Snowpoint Beacon. When he first woke up he screamed into his gag. Not to mentioned the amount of kicking and shaking he did. As it turns out Canary knew how to restricted a person from using magic. I took careful note of this since it could be useful later.
More or less it was just based on how you tied them up. Keeping their arms stretched out restricted the flow of mana. Hence they couldn't use any magic. Using the lock spell could also work apparently. Though one needed a mastery over the spell. Which most didn't have. The lock spell was rather useful, as long as you practiced and maintained an understanding of it.
Canary stared down at Anccelmo. She finally asked, "Have you exhausted yourself old man?"
He had a look of defiance, but he nodded his head. So Canary yanked the gag out of his mouth. He instantly spoke, "I knew you shouldn't have been dispatched. You still weren't ready."
She rolled her eyes, but I took note of the seemingly shared history. Anccelmo looked over at me however and clicked his tongue. "If the order knew you would take a interest to such lowly creatures." He shook his head in some sort of condemning of me.
Canary stood over the old man, "The past is the past and the present is the present. You know my skills, the techniques taught to me. Do you wish to be subject to them?"
The old man clicked his tongue. "Alina, you won't get very far in life if you follow your foolish dreams."
So much drama, Viree was downstairs, but she had to be also listening in. Canary slammed a knife into the bed near his legs. She spoke in a cold tone, "That's not my name anymore. Now talk, before more serious action is taken."
He scoffed, "I am well trained. Like He-"
She shoved the gag back into his mouth and turned to me smiling. "Vek, I am sure you have many questions. I will answer them all once I get the information out of our subject. Could you please leave me alone while I preform my work. It can be rather... messy."
I gave a nod, the look in her eye was terrifying. Canary was a beautiful women. However that made the look she gave all the more scary. Times like these make me prefer women like Viree. Speaking of, "Viree should be cooking food. I'll go join her."
Canary gave a nod and I moved quickly down the stairs. Viree looked over at me, "So? Want some carrot stew?"
The day turned into night and the night turned into day. I stayed up the entire night since I couldn't sleep due to the sounds. Viree stayed up with me the look on her face a lot paler than mine. We could hear Anccelmo's screams through his gag. I had used fear and speechcraft to get information out of the player Grey-prince.
Whatever I did, barely held a candle to whatever Canary was doing. I looked over at Viree who was staring off towards the hatch. She reacted first and sprinted over just as a Thalmor solider came out of it. I was right behind her, Viree grabbed the solider and I slit his throat. I checked the the hatch and saw no one. I grabbed a clump of snow and dropped it down. It hit nothing and just fell to the bottom.
I was checking for invisibility. I have yet to see an invisible enemy, but the thought still made me wary. I
