Chapter 575 Dragons' hideout
Chapter 575 Dragons' hideout
Rain and Seadir seemed like insects crossing the gargantuam hole at the bottom of the ocean... it didn't seem natural. It was like five hundred meters wide, after all. It was big enough to fit in a bunch of dragons all at once...
"What do you think that opened this?" Rain asked.
"I don't know. No one has been in this part of the ocean in thousands of years," Seadir said while looking around and checking that the hole was perfectly straight going down.
"I guess that is good. I can finally brag that I finally had the chance to explore something amazing," Rain said. "Jori can finally shut up on bragging about his adventurers dealing with pirates and sea monsters."Nôv(el)B\\jnn
Seadir wondered if Rain was right in the head... it wasn't time to think about that, and he seemed too relaxed considering where they were... in the worst-case scenario, they would end up surrounded by a massive pack of sea dragons.
"Which reminds me, why your father didn't fight alongside those giant monsters that he used before?" Rain asked.
"Is this really the time to talk about that?" Seadir frowned. "... He assumed that bringing them would only make things more complicated... apparently he knew about the existence of those sleeping sea dragons, even though he didn't mention them."
It seemed that Seadrei's arrogance could be compared to the deepness of that hole. Who cares about that? Maybe Seadrei didn't have confidence in an all-out war... which was weird considering his usual demeanor.
In any case, the hole extended itself for around one kilometer... Rain couldn't think that a meteor would make a hole that straight, and at the same time, he hadn't heard anything in history books about a hole like that. He also didn't hear about Sea Dragons City, and that was what he found beyond the hole.
"I have some money, but you can never stop looking for riches in the form of knowledge," Rain said. "Besides, I have the feeling that all this coral and those spears have some sort of connection."
Seadir was left utterly speechless when Rain shared his thoughts about that. As he considered Rain's words, Seadrei's thoughts seemed to drift towards his own lineage and heritage. The revelation that the structures within the dome bore a resemblance to coral spears surprised him.
Now, with that image fresh in his mind, Seadir couldn't help but draw parallels to the spear he carried. His trusty weapon, particularly the spearhead, bore a striking resemblance to the coral that surrounded them. It was as if a piece of this awe-inspiring underwater world was inextricably linked to the very weapon he wielded.
The discovery left Seadir in a state of silent contemplation. Maybe one of his ancestors had been there before and took a huge chunk of the area to make their legendary weapons... in any case, they didn't have time to waste... Rain had already started the tunnel and was ready to seal it.
When Seadir entered, Rain closed it and used a piece of the coral to illuminate their surroundings. Even though he couldn't see outside, Rain was able to keep digging while taking some pieces of the coral and storing them away. Seadir wanted to complain, but Rain seemed focused enough, so he didn't say anything.
"Man... what if I could arm the Raging Phoenix with shields and armor made of these... they would be unstoppable," Rain suddenly said.
Or maybe not... Regardless, before long, Rain changed the direction of the hole and began to move to the side. It seemed that they had already reached the floor of the city, and now they just had to find where Seadrei was.
"Do you know where you are going?" Seadir asked.
"I have an idea where Seadrei is, not in someone else's stomach," Rain said. "The old man probably made that sea dragon have one hell of a stomachache." Your next journey awaits at empire
